How many times you must reuse stored text before caching saves more than it costs, like a gym membership.
Definition
The number of requests after which prompt caching becomes cost-effective compared to standard pricing. Calculated from cache write cost vs. cumulative savings from cache reads.
Example
With 5-minute writes at 1.25x and reads at 0.1x, a single reuse already saves money: 1.25 + 0.1 is less than 2 full-price sends.
