Compaction Trigger
The fullness level at which automatic summarizing kicks in, like a fuel gauge warning light.
Definition
The input-token count at which server-side compaction runs, set with the trigger field in the API (for example {"type": "input_tokens", "value": 150000}). The default is 150K input tokens and the minimum is 50K. context_token_threshold was the name of this setting in the deprecated SDK compaction_control helper.
Example
Set {"type": "input_tokens", "value": 100000} to compact at 100K instead of the default 150K. Values under 50K are rejected.
